City Entrance Enhancement ~
New Royal Palms at the entrance to IRB at Walsingham and Gulf have been installed. It’s a beautiful and welcoming gateway to our city.
10th Avenue Walkway ~
We are currently obtaining quotes for stump removal. Quotes for tree and shrub replacement will follow after Oktoberfest.
Utility Box Wrap – Central Ave. ~
The City has given us the go-ahead to proceed with a new wrap for the Central Avenue utility box. Duke Energy replaced the old box after the storm with a much larger one. The wrap company provided final dimensions last week, and our graphic artist is preparing the digital files. Duke Energy will cover the wrap cost, and we previously approved the
design fees.

IRB Action 2000, Inc. (A2K) is committed to preserve, revitalize and enrich
the IRB Community
and has made a visable difference in the last 20 years through our projects.

TESTIMONIALS

“Sometimes all it takes is one project to be the catalyst for change within an entire community,” says former A2K President Julie Hoofnagle. “A2K’s goal is to keep this momentum going.”

Did you know that our major streetscaping project in front of CVS became an inspiration and a catalyst for their neighbor, Crabby Bill’s, to enhance their landscaping and entrance? “I know it’s spreading citywide, and we’re happy to be part of the change,” says Paul Jenkins, Jr. of Crabby’s.

Jim Mayes (Jim Mayes, Broker/ Founder of The Biltmore Group International Real Estate) directly across the street from CVS notes, "Kudos to Action 2000 for the tremendous job performed to the entrance of CVS on Gulf Blvd, they created an environmentally attractive entrance from different directions that is also functional with walking paths, plants, shell and sod."

IRB City officials are also taking notice. In a recent interview with IRB City Manager, Gregg Mims, he shared that in his 30 years of experience, this is the first City where a group like A2K with A2K volunteers would hold events and raise money and then ask the City, “what can we do and what can work on together to make the city better.” He further explained, “there is no other community in Pinellas County that has this situation.”
