POLLINATOR GARDENS

In 2017, A2K President Julie Hoofnagle put her talents as a Master Gardener to work creating a paradise for butterflies and highlighting our Florida native plants at the IRB City Hall.  The garden is perfect habitat for Monarch and other butterfly species, honey bees, and other native pollinators through native flowering plants and grasses, including noninvasive native milkweed species that can serve as migratory way stations for butterflies and facilitate the migration of other pollinators.  Stop by and enjoy the color plantings and winged visitors.

A2K volunteers continue to maintain this special pollinator garden.
